1. What is the the Digital Champions Network?

It’s an award winning online platform with courses and resources that turn staff and volunteers into confident Digital Champions who can help others with digital skills.

It has a framework to help Project Managers get their digital inclusion projects going and easy-to-use tools to monitor progress and impact.

The Network is used by hundreds of organisations across the UK including councils, housing providers, charities and community groups. It’s run by a company called Digital Unite. We are digital inclusion specialists with more than 25 years’ experience working for digital inclusion. You can read out more about the Network and how it can help you and read our full FAQs

2. How do I join?

Get in touch! Our members are organisations, rather than individuals. Some have 10 Champions, some have 500 plus. Membership starts at £1,200+VAT for a year. The costs then depend on the number of Champions you have and the complexity of your project, for example some projects have sub-projects within them or want bespoke learning journeys.

You can find our full costs here or read about how Champions models work on our company website.

We don’t provide membership for individuals, but if you want to be a Champion, contact us and we may be able to put you in touch with organisations looking for volunteers. Email us at du@digitalunite.com or call 0800 228 9272.

3. How do I register with the Network?

Here's a useful video with step-by-step instructions on how to register.

To register with the Network, you need a registration code. This is a unique code we give organisations when they join. Once you have that code, go to the registration page to create your account.

When you've completed the registration form, you'll receive a verification email, normally within 5 minutes. You'll need to click on the link in the email to confirm your email address. If you don't receive the verification email after 15 minutes, please email us at du@digitalunite.com and we'll try and understand why. Then we'll let you know what to do next as quickly as possible.

Once your email has been verified, we'll get busy setting up your account and making sure you have access to the right training and support. We'll email you to say everything is ready and then away you go! Setting up your account takes no more than 1 hour and is often faster than that.

4. What is a registration code and how do I get one?

A registration code is a unique code that organisations receive when their project is set up in the Network. They then pass this code on to their Digital Champions who use this to register with the Network. To get a code you should get in touch with your main contact at the organisation you're affiliated to.

5. I can't log in, what should I do?

Here's a useful video with step-by-step instructions to follow if you've forgotten your username or password.

Firstly, don't panic, we can help. If you've forgotten your log in details then click ‘Log in' on the Digital Champions Network, and then click ‘Forgotten your username or password'. You'll be asked to enter your username or email address.

If you're in our database, you'll be sent an email with instructions on how to get access to the Network again. If you don't receive an email within 15 minutes, get in touch with us at du@digitalunite.com and we'll investigate.

Do bear in mind that you won't be able to log in if you haven't already registered with the Network.
