1. I'm new here, what is the Digital Champions Network all about?
Hi there! Our Digital Champions Network is an award-winning online platform with stacks of online courses and support that turn people into confident Digital Champions. It also has clever project management tools and tailored training to help organisations run a successful Digital Champion project. The Network is used by hundreds of organisations across the UK including councils, housing providers, charities and community groups. You can read more about it over on our website at www.digitalunite.com.
2. I’m not a member of the Network but I’d like to be, how do I join?
Members of the Network are organisations, rather than individuals, like a charity or a local council.. The organisation pays for an annual membership that includes training licences, depending on the number of Digital Champions they have. Membership starts at £1,200 + VAT for one year and with 10 licences. To find out more, head over to our membership page on our Digital Unite website. Or get in touch by emailing email@example.com or calling 0800 228 9272.
If you’re not affiliated to an organisation, you are very welcome to join the Network as an independent Digital Champion. Membership starts at £45 + VAT for a year. Just get in touch with us directly by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0800 228 9272.
3. How do I register with the Network?
To register with the Network, you need a registration code. This is a unique code we give organisations when they join. Once you have that code, go to the registration page to create your account.
When you’ve completed the registration form, you’ll receive a verification email, normally within 5 minutes. You’ll need to click on the link in the email to confirm your email address. If you don’t receive the verification email after 15 minutes, please email us at email@example.com and we’ll try and understand why. Then we’ll let you know what to do next as quickly as possible.
Once your email has been verified, we’ll get busy setting up your account and making sure you have access to the right training and support. We’ll email you to say everything is ready and then away you go! Setting up your account takes no more than 1 hour and is often faster than that.
4. What is a registration code and how do I get one?
A registration code is a unique code that organisations receive when their project is set up in the Network. They then pass this code on to their Digital Champions who use this to register with the Network. To get a code you should get in touch with your main contact at the organisation you’re affiliated to.
5. I can’t log in, what should I do?
Firstly, don’t panic, we can help. If you’ve forgotten your log in details then click ‘Log in’ on the Digital Champions Network, and then click ‘Forgotten your username or password’. You’ll be asked to enter your username or email address.
If you’re in our database, you’ll be sent an email with instructions on how to get access to the Network again. If you don’t receive an email within 15 minutes, get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll investigate.
Do bear in mind that you won’t be able to log in if you haven’t already registered with the Network.
